JHL Timber produces premium pulp quality chips for paper mills and manufacturers across the United States and the world. To date, our team has exported our products as far as Japan. Our roots go back almost 40 years. Our parent company, L&R Timber, started in 1983 and is now a third-generation chip mill. We’ve always aimed to be a locally owned company with a global reach, and we proudly get closer to that goal year after year.

JHL boasts a high production capacity of 10,000 tons per week, an experienced crew delivering unmatched service, and a consistently-sized product. Our on-site rail spur makes JHL Timber an ideal chip mill to handle domestic and international transportation.
As a chip mill producing thousands of tons of processed chips per week, we take our responsibility to conserve our world seriously. That’s why we acquire our pulpwood and hardwood exclusively with Texas Pro Logger Certified Contractors. We strive to utilize 100% of the fiber we produce.
